OCBC China was the only foreign bank honored with three awards – Best HR Team, Best HR COE and Best HR BP Team at 2024 One FLAG Awards organized by HRflag. This marks the fourth consecutive year that we have won the Best HR Team award and the third consecutive year that we have won the Best HR COE and Best HR BP Team awards. The One FLAG Awards is the annual landmark award for human resources management. It recognizes HR teams that inspire staff with extraordinary vision, outstanding leadership and achievements.

OCBC China recently won the certified company of “Lighthouse Program for Healthy Enterprise in China”. OCBC China has clinched a total of 7 awards at "The Asset Triple A Treasurise Awards 2024" in liquidity management and trade and supply chain financing. These include 2 best trade finance solution awards (Energy and Procurement), 2 best supply chain solution awards (FI/NBFI and Services), and 3 best liquidity and investments solutions awards (Distributor and Services). The awards are organised by “The Asset”, a renowned magazine that provides independent coverage on Asia’s financial industry.

OCBC China, with its numerous innovations in transaction banking, was honored with the "Transaction Banking Award" at the 9th Asia-Pacific Banking Innovation and Development Conference. OCBC China continues to find new ways to benefit customers with its new core banking system, including providing efficient small-value payments for upstream clients across  the supply chain, improving the repayment speed and cash flow situation of small and medium-sized suppliers. OCBC China has also efficiently integrated with more digital supply chain finance ecosystems through API, better supporting financing for small and medium-sized enterprises. OCBC China was awarded third prize in the “2022 Financial Technology Development Award” organised by the PBOC. During the Financial Technology Development Award Review Leadership Group Meeting, the China Core Banking Modernization Project stood out among numerous projects. OCBC China’s Human Resources team has won the “Best Practice for HR Digital Transformation 2023” award by HR software developer KNX. The China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS) issued notice of Interbank FX Market Trial Market Making Institution guidelines in Jan 2021, in order to regulate interbank FX market development, further enhance RMB exchange rate forming mechanism and improve market price discovery. This would also increase the market makers' size (after increase, market maker and trial market maker numbers will reach 25 and 20 respectively). After receiving the notice, OCBC Wing Hang China Global Treasury responded quickly to the opportunity, and submitted its trial market maker application to CFETS. In Feb 2021, CFETS approved OCBC Wing Hang China's application for the trial market maker. Once obtaining the approval, OCBC Wing Hang China Global Treasury got in touch with the quote engine vendor to conduct system development and testing. The quote engine was launched in Jun 2021,and then GT FX traders fulfilled trial market maker obligations diligently and engaged in market quotations actively to provide liquidity to the market.
